Bedford, NH – HomeSeer Technologies announces the release of its
new plug-in for control of UPB (Universal Powerline Bus) devices. The new
plug-in will allow installers and integrators to control all UPB devices
directly from the company’s best selling HomeSeer v2.0 software and
from the upcoming HomeSeer PRO-100 hardware controller.
The new plug-in is designed to download and install into HomeSeer software
or into the PRO-100 controller directly from the internet. Unlike other
software interfaces for UPB, the HomeSeer UPB plug-in supports fully verified
two-way control without the need to poll devices. In addition, the plug-in
supports advanced UPB devices like sensors and input/output controllers,
UPB links (scenes) with full trigger and condition support and custom control
of UPB keypad indicators.
