"Many temperature probes, Lumens (Davis and Z-Wave) sensor and Motion sensors will input to Homeseer and provide the means for an EMC (Environmental Monitor Computer) to give maximum energy savings for heating and lighting which normally is only seen at high end Industrial office buildings or Space Shuttles and space labs. Adding Voice Control to all lights, shades and the entertainment center moves the house into the 21st century. I recommend wireless mics to eliminate 60 cycle hum."

"My showcase 26 year old passive/Active Solar home was designed by NREL, and Homeseer with Z-Wave and IR control has kept the house technically ahead of the market and helped optimize the house to near "NET-ZERO" for energy consumption. With 10 of the new Triple Play Multi Motion sensors, I can now control the window shades up/Down using the temperature and lumens component of the triple play sensor."

 "IR commands dictate about 100 x of my voice commands to Sirius Radio for any category of music to play in the house. Example: If I say "Bruce", sirius radio will tune to the Bruce Springsteen channel. NOTE: For voice commands, Re-name your default computer name "COMPUTER" to another name. I use the name "Rex". REASON: Most Hollywood science fictions use the word "computer" by the actors. Given the right movie, Homeseer may respond (to "computer") and start turning off your home theater in the middle of a movie or doing odd things, especially if Homeseer can lock you out of the house."
