Every event must have some type of action associated with it. Actions are defined from the Event Properties dialog. Select the tab under the type of action you would like to perform. Events are how automation is performed - actions in events can turn lights on or off, send an E-mail message, or send an infrared command to turn on your stereo system.
Select the Event view from the View Pane.
Now right-click on an event and select Event Properties.
The remaining topics in this section discuss the various actions that can be assigned to an event. Remember also that action tabs can appear in the event properties area through the addition of plug-ins and add-ons to your HomeSeer system.
