Phone Keypad Command Summary

When calling HomeSeer Phone, you can give voice commands or use the keypad on the phone to navigate the menus. Depending on the how the system is set up, the commands may differ. Here is a summary of the available keypad and voice commands. Note that voice recognition is not enabled for normal callers who are not logged in. All the commands described here are set in the default command scripts. These scripts may be edited to change the prompts or the keypad commands. See the Command Scripts section for more details.

If the system is set to use the single mailbox command script (set in the Phone Setup screen), the caller is prompted to simply leave a message. The message is left in the default mailbox.

If the system is set to use multiple mailboxes, the caller is prompted to enter a mailbox number and the pound (#) key.

For either system (single or multiple mailboxes), the caller may enter their passcode by first pressing the pound (#) key. This causes the system to prompt the caller for their 4-digit pass code. After successfully entering their passcode and the # key, they are now in their private mailbox. They may also access the default mailbox by entering the associated passcode.

After logging in, you may enter commands using the keypad on the phone or by using voice commands. Here is a summary of the available commands.
