[edit] Configuration

Like most plug-ins, the NetCam Plug-in can be configured by clicking on its 'config' link on the interfaces tab. Cameras can be added to the system by assigning a name and a URL to the current image from the camera and clicking Add Camera.

[edit] Determining the Camera URL

The URL to the camera can normally be determined by navigating to the display pages of the cameras web server and finding where the most recent image is displayed. The source of the page or properties of the image will often reveal the path to the image.

[edit] Other Settings

  • Maximum pictures to store - This is the maximum number of pictures that should be stored on the hard drive. Old pictures will automatically be cleaned up and new pictures will take their places.
  • Number of columns to show on display page
  • Number of rows to show on display page
