Z-Wave controller functions are managed here.
Not all of the buttons below will be available for all Z-Wave interfaces.
Read the descriptions and/or click on the buttons below for more information on each of the buttons listed. For ALL Z-Wave interfaces, the Import Devices, Rescan Devices, Rescan Devices (Full), Light Optimize Network, Restart and Erase Controller functions should be available.
Only interfaces that support the advanced installer capabilities will have the Optimize Network and Restore Network options. Examples of these types of devices are the HomeSeer Z-Troller and the Cooper RF USB Installer interfaces. When using one of these interfaces HomeSeer automatically saves the Z-Wave HomeID and the node information to the file you specify (a default filename is provided based upon your configuration file name). This file is located in the HomeSeer config folder. If by chance your primary interface fails, or is replaced, you can restore the HomeID and node information with the Restore Network button. With some interfaces, you may need to power cycle the interface before the new HomeID becomes active.
