Setting up the TV/Game Timers

To Set Up the TV/Game Timer

1. Click the TV/Game Timer button at the top of the Control screen.  (If the button isn't visible, enable the option to display it at the bottom of the Web Site Setup screen.)

2. In the TV/Game Timer screen, click the Create New User link.  The TV/Game Timer User screen will appear.

3. Fill in the fields in the screen.  (Go to the TV/Game Timer User screen for a description of each field.)

Using the TV/Game Timer

1. To turn on the TV, video game player, or whatever device is set up for timed access, the user must first press a button on the appropriate tabletop controller to OFF; this tells HomeSeer that a password is ready to be sent and resets its password counters.

2. The user then enters his or her password using the buttons on the controller.  He or she must then press the ON button.  If the password is correct, HomeSeer will turn on the device and start timing how long it's on for that user.
